Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

Niederhoffer has a doctorate in statistics. Niederhoffer's fund was the top performer in its category for the last 3 years. Niederhoffer was World Squash Champion and US Champion for 10 years. Yes, nice concept this 'arete'. But it should probably be used on those who actually achieve...

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

For info, it isn't my site. And googling doesn't seem to come up with anything along the lines of what's been posted here. Anyway, I'm off to take some profits now.

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

I can't seem to find any equivalents of 'totally pathetic trader', 'disgusting behavior, it shows this man has no integrity.' It also seems to me that attacking underperforming investment icons may be put into the category of 'deflating ballyhoo' rather than anything personal. As for the...

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

I didn't notice much of discussion, just a lot of name calling and nit picking. Seemed to me like pretty shabby treatment of a great trader and benevolent person, which is why I've been wasting my time here.

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

I don't think you understand what a prediction actually is, which might explain why you got the wrong end of the stick. When the expectancy of something reaches statistical significance it can be regarded as 'predictive', but there are no '100%' sure things with stats, just levels of confidence...

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

I'm just curious about my theory, that it's LOSERS who are bashing Niederhoffer because they're JEALOUS. But for this we'd need to see the trading results of his detractors. Care to be the first? Predictions for suckers? How, pray, do you intend to make money in markets if you don't have...

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

Hey, you're entitled to discuss who you want. And I'm entitled to point out that bashing the greats tends to be an activity indulged in by LOSERS. Let's see those predictions and track records roll in...

Breaking news: Niederhoffer still in business after market correction!

I await with baited breath to see if any of the Niederhoffer bashers has the courage to make a single market call. Well? What's the S&P going to do today and why? And kindly support your view with some stats. And oh yes, would any of you care to post their track record to see how it...
