Gary Black on TWTR said if TSLA added to SP500 around $500/share, 52B or 12% of stock will need to be purchased by indexers.

It is thought that this is timed to SP500 inclusion. If not comprehensible, take a few minutes to decide how many B are needed to satisfy demand. Then post the answer here.

Sounds like someone is confused about what is happening versus what they are being told. If you want full confidence in TA, that comes at the top of bull markets.

If I were to try and short TSLA, I'd wait for battery day news, or take a risk limited position for any hype right before the event. Like there are some idiots talking about 2000 mile batteries. Tesla strikes me as a sell the news type of company. As an exercise, go back in history, look at...
