I worked @ a mutual fund for 5 years first. You should do the same. Build a good capital base and then when you are well capitalized, prop will be there waiting for you. Good luck.

Yes you sure are right. The time frames you talk about are the exact same I use on an intraday time frame. One can only know this by years and years and years of trading experience. Obviously some here dont. Great advice Spooz!!

I learned the hard way in 2004 by taking 11K+ hit. Of course within 1.5 days it was a 11k+ winner, but couldnt risk anymore damage. I never trade this, mostly I just view it as noise and wait a few days for them to shake the weak hands.

We are sitting in a tight range over the last 10 days, about 16 points. I cant justify any entry right now though there has been a few good trades. I'll be looking @ this again in a couple of hours around when those fomc minutes come out. It really shows how fast big money can squash this...
