In addition to trading I own a donut and ice cream store. Events like this are great for the vice business. Look at the tobaccos and alcohol cos if this continues, they will outperform. We had one of our best years after 9/11. Been a little soft lately with good times, today was very good...
12666 is the pivot, go back to Feb 6th and 7th. Close above go long, close below go short on the dailys. Same thing happened with the sp in 96 at 666, that was nearly a 10% correction.
Say what you will but it is a significant number...
Go to tradesports.com and cut your teeth on the dow, hourly's and end of day. I think the financials and other events are being split off due to us gaming/banking regs. You will learn gaming and markets for $500.
You have to read between the dimensions Pro.... Guess you are taking the same pills as jack. Good trading too you, or posting whatever you do best. I believe jack does the latter.
I am very happy being a rich kid and not a washed out worthless thread generator....
:D
I am rarely active (20 to 40 moments in a day) and when I am, I use TA to give me leading indicators of price and I am front running "smart money" by choice.
Quote, Jack...
I though you were always active, always taking everthing the range had to give. I guess you only have 20 to 40...
2 nice longs off the bottom today. 1457 is overhead sell (to get short) target, doesn't look like we will make it with notes not holding up. All the better if it does make it.
February 22, 2006 $31,000, February 22, 2007 $115,000. Was seriously thinking about bidding on one three weaks ago in the low $70,000's. 50% in three weeks, sh%t!
Investment bankers must be working orvertime, go public or sell out to the CBOT?
$500/acre, maybe for a dirt farm. Used to walk beans in the most fertile, productive land in the country. Big differnce in yields if you are paying $500/acre. Lush, well drained black earth, remnants of the bison, that is $3,500/acre. They were animals of the plains and made it what it is today.
I am referring to the grain embargo , the exchanges closed for 2 days and crashed the markets. Carter really thought the rest of the world would not sell them grain? Reagan realized that and went toe to toe with the sword. Too late, damage done to the American farmer.
Where did you grow...
