What happened when you set the memory? To 500 MB or less, then 4 GB? My IB TWS calls for 1 Gb so I gave it 4Gb, out of 48Gb. I also keep the configuration (screens) at the lowest possible. My config file was 4 Kb of XML. I got it down to 2.3Kb. Loads faster.

IB does. A bit clunky though. You can save a basket as a CVS file and edit it, then reload it. When doing a lot of them, I run two excel sheets. One calculates the number of shares rounded to the nearest 10 or 50 (to help with odd lots) based on the proportional amount that stock represents...
