actually my two internet connections combined download at T-1 type speeds. I have clocked downloads at 1.8 Meg per second well above a t-1 at 1.54 meg per second and this is at 1/4 the cost of a t-1, with double redundancy

I see your point on the commissions, I do average around 4k a day in commission with 2k to 3k coming back to me in ECN rebates. Basically I am paying my ticket charges when it is all said and done.

most internet providers have pipes(usually t-3 coming off of an OC-48 fiber Ring) these are already redundant. The point of having 2 seperate connections from 2 seperate companies is to get around if something happens to one of them. MOst of the time the providers have their own fiber rings...
