This is my third time trading. I went belly up the previous 2 times with small 10k accounts (money I could lose without any change in my lifestyle.) I have really re-defined my trading rules and am doing a ton better in my 3rd venture into trading. Currently, I am up 150% on my starting...

Closed out 2 ES at 1396.00. Purchase price was about 1371. Close out 2 NQ at 1912.00. Purchase price was 1863. so +50 ES today +98 NQ points today.

Currently long NQ and ES from market 1863 and 1371 repectively. Will hold until cash market closes. Good luck all have a great weekend.

Personally with options. You will lose the entire 3K buying premium. I started trading that way when I was young. Lost it all. Take my advice. Do not buy options unless you have a very specific plan in mind. Buying when it is overbought/oversold will surely cost you your money.

Sorry for the delayed posting. I have been at work. However, I was able to call in a trade for 4 NQ prior to the google release. At 1863. I think that google will drag everything up toommorow. Kinda a risky play, but I have some buy signals anyway on the daily charts. Regards,

Does anyone think that the market can handle some more great news? The market is so thirsty for good news that anything will cause a massive rally.

I dont have a Forex account. I trade currency futures. For example, to short the EUR/JPY. Could I sell the EC future and go long the JPY future? Would that be the equivalent trade. The EUR/JPY future is just too thinly traded so actually trade that contract.

Long ES at 1370. Inverted H&S on the daily is complete today and IBM came out with huge numbers. Target is about 1390.

I get his letter as part of my brokerage account. I am with RCG. They are the best futures broker I have ever encountered. His letter is very good and I read it daily. Great commentary and analysis.

Violente has got some spot on analysis. Looks like we are finishing the right shoulder of the Inverse H&S. Any idea if the after hours intel gap will be covered tommorow? I mean the gap in the ES and NQ?

You think that the run on the dollar is over for a while? Fading all the trends? I am tempted to do the same.

I am stopped out at the break even point for my 3 ES shorts from friday.

Pump, You held ES longs over the weekend? I am not sure how low we will open monday. But I expect some more downward pressure. I do not think it will be like Black Monday though.
