I bought into a small put position end of day today. Google didnt win the wireless auction. After an up day like today im expecting it to be a lower Monday open..and goog might take a hit considering both of these factors plus the RBC downgrade. today just happened to be an overall good...

exactly. The trend is downwards. Lower highs and bigger lows each time the market bounces up. Thats a recipe for a downward trend. Even if the market rallies tommorow with a full percentage point rate cut, its a temporary rally, imo.

^^good move. Market didnt look too strong today after yesterday's rally. Anything Fed induced usually doesnt last too long. The fundamental market needs to rally by itself without any intervention, then its a true sign of change.

I wouldnt go long right now for short terms gains. Expect your portfolio to go down before you start seeing any green if you go long now. Its a good time to buy and hold for years to come though. Not for me. Im a short term profit taker :)
