    Velocity

Did anyone try to chart ES on X_Study w/ Velocity? It seems there is no support for historical charts since September 2; just realtime access; there is no merging with older data. Strangely enough CME other instruments are fine.

Zen Fire data feed in fast market

Under XT 7.6.x or later the TT feed is no more filtered; I'm unsure that the TT Fix is 'filtered' using NT. The OP should ask to TT/Ninja.

Ok... so again: it's better to use Ubuntu 64 caching system or XP Pro 64 caching system in order to run a XP Pro 32 bit clients under VMware environment? Ot it's totally indifferent since the XP Pro x64 caching IO is similar to Ubuntu 64 in terms of IO performance supposing there is enough free RAM?

I have to use 32 bit XP because of software compatibility. I cannot use Vista x64 or Windows 7. Could you please reply to my questions? "I'm not sure to understand your reasonament: would you suggest or not to use the Ubuntu 64 as host in a VMware environment instead of XP Pro x64? Or...

'that advantage disappears'? I know that - for example a 64 Bit will allow to access 4 or 8 Gb while the 32 bit XP Pro client will be limited to about 3 Gb..that is not the issue. I'm not sure to understand your reasonament: do you suggest or not to use the Ubuntu 64 as host in a VMware...

UP! Edit: the reason is whether using a Linux-based OS that efficiently offers a write-back caching technique could be much more efficient than Windows OS, running as a VMware host environment.

Ok, let's clearly exclude any VMware VMs vs. bare metal comparison. I meant whether (or in which circumstances) running a XP Pro 32 bit guest under Ubuntu 64 (host) could be faster than running it over a XP Pro x86 (host) or a XP Pro x64 (host).

Anyone of you are using Ubuntu 64 bit host with VmWare in order to run faster Windows XP Pro x86 or XP Pro x64 guests?

If ELX does not switch to 30Y full tick, they could gain some attention from black boxes arbing vs. CME 30 full tick. But 30Y is not enough to re-create the Tsy mkt...

CME Group ups bond trading increments

so, who has the advantage to reintroduce the full tick ($31.25) when they asked for it to reduce the cost of hedging the cash? maybe the algo accounts are the only players remained and they hope for new blood by retail accounts, attracting them with the full tick?...

It's curious the example of saving for non-member: 1.1 Mln vs. CME: who trades 10K lots/day and choose not to be a member or trading under any other of the available membership profiles? :D
