Technical Analysis is total rubbish! Here's the proof!

is there any way that works 100% of the time? no. so it is better to use the simplest technique rather than use 15 super computers and 5 quantum physicists and getting the same results.

What is better: using a simple moving average or price action?

i think it is very important to trust your strategy or analysis something that does not come easy my point is that for me i have found it is very much easier to trust a moving average signal than a price action one.

What is better: using a simple moving average or price action?

if the 200 day ma is sloping upward then it is better to wait to see if it comes back up. if the 200 ma is sharply upward and all the other shorter moving averages are SHARPLY down then you can look to go long. do you look only at 200 ma?:D

What is better: using a simple moving average or price action?

so in price action you do not look at the past bars: do you consider only the last bar printed? do you not look at price action in past periods also known as context. The moving average shows you in glance the context.

Those that poopood on moving averages, thoughts on this?

this what happened. be alert to what information the market is giving. i hope this illustrates that trading is not only about following indicators or price action or rules but understanding the language of the markets and giving her the due attention and respect, she deserves:D.

What is better: using a simple moving average or price action?

Price action is better for the gurus, teachers vendors, because it takes years to learn and they get paid during that time Moving average is better for the trader because it takes less than a day and there is no ambiguity or judgment required

Those that poopood on moving averages, thoughts on this?
