You have hit the nail on the head. You need to be long and short in low/un correllated instruments. That is risk management, not stops that may or may not be effective. Very hard to do for the retail clients with small accounts. Although to achieve this also often requires lots of hard work...

Hi Robbo, I just downloaded MT4 and will have a look at how versatile the platform is. Nothing ventured nothing gained, it's just a Demo account thru Forex.com so it won't cost anything if it's not a goer. Anybody who knows about this stuff is welcome to chime in. I'll let you know how it works...
