Is it fair though that a specialist can widen out a spread and post a bid and offer that no one can hit or get filled at? If he shows a 1000 shares on the bid, you would think that is an indication that he should be willing to trade 1000 shares at that price.

I have seen a few posts by you that have been fairly accurate so I am sure like others my interest has been sparked. Have you already layed out your method for finding these trading times or do you have plans too in the future?

I wonder why this has not been published more. I wonder if most trading software recognizes this fact and will let you short on a downtick since most software has protections so that traders do not accidently or purposely short on downticks unless they have a bullet.
