    Entry orders on the break

No, but I will plug Oanda... They are the best FX broker IMO... Check out my thread on Oanda in this section...

    Have you considered Tradestation?

    Oanda

I need 30 minute to go back at least 60 days.

    Oanda

I need some history on those charts. It's silly. I can't even throw up a simple EMA...

    Oanda

I don't understand, however, why they don't offer charts back to at least 3-6 months...

    Oanda

They seriously don't need to do that neither... I wonder what their advantage in doing that is...

    Oanda

This is the other thing I forgot to mention. I had my account opened online, I scanned my DL, faxed them a bill, and had my identity verified at 11-12AM at night. Literally, I had it faxed from my desk and they emailed me shortly after. The following morning, they confirmed my deposit...

    Oanda

To me it's a combination of factors. Pip spreads come to my mind because my other logical choice, since I use TS, is to go with Gain... but then we're talking about 4 pip spreads... Big difference there over the long term, ya know... IB probably offers the same 2 pip spread as Oanda, but...

    Oanda

I've been demo'ing Oanda for awhile and just recently opened an account with them... I really am impressed. When you compare them to many other brokers, you just can't beat 'em... Fast execution, no minimum deposit, 2.5 pips on the EUR/JPY, no commissions, second by second interest...

They don't have to... they have optical zoom lens from afar... They be sneaky.

Why are the Forex markets so dead lately?

We are?? I'm not. It depends on the pair... EUR/JPY trends VERY nicely. That and AUD/USD isn't too bad neither.

    The Perfect Edge

I didn't say they were my mistakes... I'm in denial... it's the market... THEY did it to me. THEY took my stop out... :D

    The Perfect Edge

Very true. I'm still working on that... I just came off of 10-12 consecutive drawdowns in my main account (equities) and about 4 of those were due to mistakes... it's been a rough month, but because I continued to stick with my plan, the last trade was a nice winner, and my current open trade...

I hear ya. This is the hardest business to undertake. How I even trade and mentally deal with it while working a full-time job is beyond me. How's tonight going? You doing any scalping? My setup just triggered and filled: BUY order EUR/JPY @ 138.465, SL @ 138.180

Bro, I'm just joking ya... Consistency is far more important in my book than anything. Even if you only turned a 10% profit a year, that's impressive just on the consistency factor. If you can do that year after year, you are much further along than 90% of the gamblers in the markets today...

    The Perfect Edge

I may have to pick your brain sometime on your short-term scalping/gridding ideas... I'm always in as well, which can range from 1 day to 2-4 days... As you know, being in for 2-4 days on a currency is a nice win... I'm currently working on a scalping strategy on EUR/USD and EUR/JPY with...

For me it's a little discretionary, which isn't good, but I have a good idea of when I would pull the plug and I'd say it's when you start noticing some major drawdowns... major being the system is making new drawdowns. I'd start getting nervous at that point. It hasn't yet, but it will.
