I hope the Nsdq is losing market share for their decision to cut in half the hidden order rebate. I for one am now using Arca and Edge only. Hidden orders are on of the few equalizers against the games of the MM's. I was actually told by a person at Nasdaq OMX that MM's didn't like stepping into...

It is possible to find rates that low with stable fast execution. I pay 40cents/1000 shares +/- ecn +sec + nas fee. Alot of traders are getting hosed out there with payout % and higher rates. I trade about 100k shares a day.

Can someone define the parameters for a ticket deal. Pay per share is simply each execution. Is a ticket deal per order or orders over time or something else? Is a ticket considered uniform amongst brokers. Thanks in advance.

What a nightmare!

Can't believe Genesis has turned of bats/edge quotes for up to two weeks. Insane. In a attempt to fix intermittent lagging quotes they shut off 20/30 % of the market. If that is the true reason it's a terrible decision. Trading is hard enough. Finally time to start looking elsewhere. Too bad...

Does anyone know if/when the ecn take and offer liquidity rates are to change? Also, if they are reduced to say 1 to take and 0 to offer and the ecn is part of montage and you soes it, would you still pay 3 to take.
