I place 1000 shares to sell MOC for PFE in account B

Don't concern yourself with WHY, just wondering is all respects is this legal?
I can probably just check this out tomorrow, but I'm kinda curious...
on a standard level 2 box, can you see the NYSE bid / ask before the stock opens?
I'm think Nasdaq has something that is similiar to an add liquidity only feature like, BATS, and EDGX has. It is called the Post only order. You should take a look @ that
if you're using resting limit orders this will normally be the case. Where if you put a buy lmt order at the bid. If you get filled you'll often find the bid is now the ask. This is high freq trading.
can I ask you this.
Does the clearing firm you are associated with affect the speed. Basicially what I'm asking is if you are w a prop firm that uses laser but clears through something other than genesis is that going to affect the speed?
I'm wondering if I can trade prop use laser, clear...
They are competing w/ NASDAQ's BX 1 mil rebate & Direct Edge's EDGA 2 mil rebate.
3 mils is a pretty big spread for BATS to cover.
probably will just be a teaser rate to introduce the new ecn

For faster quotes you just rent out a server in a data center that is w/ in close proximity to the exchange.
But how do you increase the...
I'm looking to see if Mortgage electronic registration systems inc is tradeable on any exchange? I went to yahoo.com / finance, and typed in the name but it didn't find anything.
was wondering if anyone had any other ideas?
Thanks
I'm not really sure what that means. Basically I want this data feed as cheap as possible, but I would still like it. I would prefer to have it via the internet, however if that is not a possibility I would set up a server somewhere and get the data via that way.
Thanks
I'm looking to purchase a datafeed from NYSE, however basically the process is I have to hire a company to establish a connection w/ the data feed.
I have called several companies and they don't send the data over the internet. I would prefer the internet as latency is not an issue for me...
EDGX (26) mils to add, 30 mils to remove
EDGA 2.5 mils to add, 1.5 mils to remove
These damn ecns are getting more and more greedy.
I think everyone should just use BATS from here on in to make a point, just a 1 mil spread. (24) to add 25 to remove
