An endeavor at which they will almost certainly succeed. It is pretty impressive, I have to admit!

AAPL just announced they will miss their Qtr

I didn't mean you specifically just the general hype in this thread and elsewhere about the AAPL announcement.

So all the way back down around Friday's levels, wow what a crash!

AAPL just announced they will miss their Qtr

No big deal. Any drop will be brief and short lived. Ignore the headline hype.

Bernie Sanders...Is this a case for buying and holding quality stocks??

Far as I can tell, for the average middle class person/family the Canadian approach is a little better. Sure taxes are higher but there's no real financial issue around healthcare, whereas in the US even average income are paying crazy premiums and deductibles. I admit this is somewhat...

Bernie Sanders...Is this a case for buying and holding quality stocks??

To be fair, this is false. Canada is very good at providing things like an emergency cholecystectomy (or really most acute care). It's the chronic/elective stuff where it fails. And in that case, as you allude, some people simply pay for the care in Canada, the US or elsewhere.

    trading around corona virus dynamic

No real impact. Lots of headline noise. Sure, China is lying about the numbers - but they lie about everything.

OK, boomers and millennials: This next wave of home buyers is coming up fast

Presumably demand will be what it will be. The question is more the mix of rent vs ownership.

    That is impressive.

Best day vs. worst day P&L

Meaningless question. All that matters is sustained (long term) return. If you're not beating the market after all costs (including your own time, which should be most valuable of all) it's a pointless exercise. The absolute value is meaningless. Some might see 6 digit+ fluctuations from...

Looks like "money pump" trumps possible world-wide pandemic

This is true. Never trust Chinese numbers about anything - at any time. But it also doesn't really matter either.

Looks like "money pump" trumps possible world-wide pandemic

OK let's add market downturn/crash (30-50%+ decline) to the list. Are you telling me you can consistently predict these downturns ahead of time? And/or that news (e.g. hype around coronavirus) allows you to do so? I am genuinely curious.

Looks like "money pump" trumps possible world-wide pandemic

This is the correct approach. Rather than get sucked into all kinds of meaningless noise, pay attention to what the market itself is telling you and trade accordingly. Basically - would you rather be "right", or make money?

Looks like "money pump" trumps possible world-wide pandemic

Yes I do. Who cares even if a quarter or 2 of earnings do get hit? It's not like central banks would allow any meaningful drop anyway. Now if their approach changed, I grant that might be something to take into consideration. Otherwise all this buzz is just meaningless noise - there will...
