The irony is that when I first started trading about a year ago, I was up like $3000 in a week and a half. I was startled. I used a trendline trading type system. Of course I lost it all back. But, during the first couple of months I was able to catch some big swings netting 10 to 20 points...

Joshdance, How do you cope with a stop being hit then immediately reversing to go the way you had hoped it would go? I am pretty sure this happens a lot with the system you have. Do you re-enter or just sit on your hands?

JoshDance, I notice that you put up an extremely tight stop (1point). You probably get stopped out a lot. I am a little intrigued by your stops location and would like to hear your thoughts on the matter. I am new to trading and people have told me to have a little room for stops. Please elaborate.
