From Nov of 2016 to Jan of 2018 the market was making new all time highs over and over and no one quit trading long. It is all about trade management.

BTW, you just showed an example of one of Al's biggest beliefs - 90% of the time (i.e. no large BO), you can pretty much place a trade anywhere and make a profit IF you manage it correctly. Trade management is WAY more important than entries.

I can't see the prices on the chart very well, but there was a double top just after you entered. If you had waited, there was a head and shoulders later that lead to a selloff.

Al says there are several good trade setups a day. However, no offense to padutrader, this is not one of them. If he had waited for the double top and took Al's reversal setup he would have been much better.

What charting package do you use?

Al would say you have too tight a stop. Stop should have been at the top of the high or the top of the first major pullback.

I am taking his course and I find it the most insightful I have ever read/heard. You have to have a lot of patience with him. He beats a dead horse a lot and his voice is monotone. However, I really like the content.

I have been an eOption account holder for several years and I am happy with them. Their user interface is ok for buying and selling calls and puts. No bells and whistles, though. Just plain buying and selling. Can't beat the commissions.

Why not go on Chan's blog and ask them?

As far as I know TOS is only available to account holders. I opened an account with them and when I didn't fund it they closed the account.

Get that degree, whatever the major. Even if you go the daytrading route there is no assurance of success (90%+ fail). BTW, get the degree in whatever you really like. If you don't like accounting, don't go there.
