It is my understanding that the majority of loans of this nature get sold off and bundled into collateral pools backing asset backed securities. Does anyone here have experience with asset backed securities?

I agree with your points - false breakouts have to be dealt with, and fading breakouts and entering on pullbacks have to be considered as part of the strategy. Putting that into a mechanical system is where I am right now -I'm just getting into the whole "create a mechanical system" thing...
