Price action leading up to the dump at 10AM

One's gotta love ET: all the clowns set themselves afire just because their ego says so. And I don't even have to pay admission tickets to the circus. :D

Well, I certainly hope you're not short now, either. ;)

Price action leading up to the dump at 10AM

Well, if you look at index futs, you'll see a perfect doji top on the ES around 3 am on the hourly. Then right before the news there's an attempt to rise from the base (retest) that produced a gigantic wick on the upside, meaning it was sold off hard. This means the market already made up its...

new short sale rules next week?

So the problem is not short selling but market manipulation which is bidirectional. A stock's price has nothing to do with the underlying company, except in the rare case the company wishes to issue more shares. But that's why we have manipulation... :p

    Short DAX at 7740

So low 5300s didn't happen this week, too much Greek talk. Or lack of. The two scenarios I see most probable: 1) next week eu officials come up with a brilliant solution for Greece that is applicable to Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, UK too, and then we will see a July09 scenario, IF...

    Short DAX at 7740

I know I said soon, but damn, I meant mid Feb. Oh well, since eur/usd selling craze is not showing signs of slowing down, let's see low 5300s next week. Although I don't recommend keeping open anything for this weekend, who knows what Dick head comes out with what ingenious idea over the weekend...

Wall St. 2 "Money never sleeps" trailer

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1027718/plotsummary This is the short signal. :p It doesn't sound like a "Wall Street 2" movie at all. It' a classic whodoneit, and WS will serve only as a backdrop. There will be no trading, no financial action scenes. Gekko growing a conscience and trying to...

    Short DAX at 7740

USD looks like a runaway freight train to me. (1.40 held for what, half a day? LOL) Until this run continues equities will be slaughtered in the US, thus in the EU as well. My money is on FDAX visiting the 5300s very soon.

    Short DAX at 7740

So FDAX to 5880 by EOD and 6000+ by EOW? I'm a bit sceptical just yet. :) Maybe if effing EUR would stop playing ping-pong with fibos...

Stunned Wall Street Firms Don’t Want to Wage War on Obama

It seems to me that Obama is waging the war on WS whether they want to fight back or not. 'Recovering every single dime' will lead to the same stage that we were at in 10/08, only difference is the market is much lower now. This doughnut will turn the economy around to a second, deeper leg down...

    Jokes 2

:D I don't know whether to laugh or cry... This reminds me: Man goes to the barber shop. The barber gives him a wooden ball to help keep the skin on his chin tight. 'Here, put this in your mouth, it'll help me shave you better'. 'Okay.' says the guy, taking the ball in. With full mouth he has...

    Queston about a moron

He can advertise a |98%| (ie. absolute 98%) return with a small * to the footnote. Like this: "We produce |98%|* returns over three months! Invest with us now!" Given the general level of reading comprehension, math skills and propensity to read the small print, he'll have 13m under...

Taxes: Can a Trader Relocate to tax-free locale?

If that's true, then it's a smart tax agency policy. Think about how much in losses in forex would be used to offset actual income vs. the very limited amount of gains that is not taxed. All tax agencies should do this.

    Discount Stock Broker

Obviously you don't understand. Every post you make is proof (ie. not 'accusations') that you seriously lack understanding. In and of itself it's not a problem at all, I just wanted to put a warning sign around your post, so that those who want to understand, will. And there's no currency...

    Discount Stock Broker

Why are you explaining things you don't understand? As shortbleu described there is always currency risk on the entire position between the moment of entering said position and the moment of exiting it. The broker will not take that risk for you.
