    Iterative Refinement

Hi, I know what you mean Breakeven. No advise here at this moment but today was a disaster for me as well. 14:45 we have the mother of all gaussians. Increasing extreme red volume throughout the complete bar. I got in early in made 8 points or so. (didn't count, didn't care). We have...

    Iterative Refinement

Maybe this helps. A flaw starts out just as a FTT. So at first you may think it is one, later on you know it's not for example based on PRV or other characteristics such as lateral movement (decr black + decr red) If price moves inside the previous bar I think pennant. Of course this...

    Iterative Refinement

The point is in my opinion to get in on such a moment that if price gets away from you a certain number of tickets then the picture of the market changes and you should be on the other side of the market (reverse). This number of ticks should be minimal. So you have to know when to get out...

Can any conclusion be drawn if there is not a wall? regards, Ivo

    Iterative Refinement

I have a question to anyone who knows. At the border of a channel, do we always expect a wall to be there on the DOM? (which of course may be broken, withdrawn or not) regards, Ivo

This is nice, checkout this YM graph. An FTT on the traverse as well on the forrest followed by a flaw. Great entry / reverse moment. BTW ES showed forrest FTT also. regards, Ivo

That bar shows FTT to me (11:10) 11:05 just made me think: okay, we have point 3 up, tall bar but volume is actually not very high as I would like to see. That's really all it says because there are numerous examples in the market where a bar like that is taken out by a high volume bar on the...

    Iterative Refinement

I think the 11:05 bar of this morning is a good example of a bar where volume relatively is too low for the volatility/range of that bar. This means: Look for change. I went long somewhere in the middle of that bar (at BO) but then short the next one. regards, Ivo

If volatility decreases while price moves towards RTL then plan on fanning RTL. So the RTL break needs to be on increasing volume / volatility. I always use Average True range indicator (on YM) to check what's happening with the volatility on these moments. regards, Ivo

So 61 got triggered. What price did you get? I have no experience using bracket orders so I am curious about this. I didn't see anything and like 1 second later price was up 10 points on my graph. regards, Ivo

Jack Hershey – MACD and Stochastics helpers for 123 and FTT's

Hi all, Just a question about the settings in quotetracker. For the stochastics in QT I can only fill out 2 variables. So basically my fast stoch (FST) says (14,3) and the slow stoch says (5,3). How do other have this? I have the feeling something is wrong with my settings. How does...

    Iterative Refinement

Okay. This makes perfect sense to me and I would have done the same although I would not have gone short at that perfect price you did (65.5 I recall) I think. Had there been a clear immediate lateral breakout to the upside I suppose a reverse would have been appropiate which would have made...

    Iterative Refinement

Too bad I missed it. (missed the anouncement) I was checking the log with my graphs and just wanted to have something clear. You went short in the 15:10 bar. Why? That bar had less than 50% of the volume of the previous bar and I was thinking "flaw" at that moment. Was YM the reason...

    Iterative Refinement

For me it was an extreme difficult day. Very quick FTT's (that normally sometimes I would not even consider an FTT). Moves that ended quickly. Strange sudden bars that confused me. 100% flaws that were not flaws but FTT's... (around 12:45) I think I need a lot more experience to be able...

    Iterative Refinement

Hello, in this case yes before the close. I clearly saw the bar trying to break the tape and then falling back. The high of the bar would be my stop or even RTL. regards, Ivo

chart for today. +26 points and made some mistakes. I noticed the 15:10 FTT very late and did some reversal before that trying to catch the point 3 up... regards, Ivo

    Iterative Refinement

Just an example of a tape break that did not materialise. Good moment to short. However, afternoon is coming up and the question is if we can make enough volume to continue to go down. If not, change will come soon. Ivo
