    Anyone using Amp futures ?

No, they are counted separately. If you want to use both simultaneously, you have to pay double the CME fee. The biggest advantage of Rithmic is gone but they charge the same cost.... o_O

How important is the win percentage?

I basically agree with you but some people such as Boris Schlossberg (CNBC FX commentator and Kathy Lien's business partner) are strongly against 'risk:reward ratio' concept. Once he even said it's the biggest BS he's ever heard. :wtf: Interesting...

How important is the win percentage?

When you go to Forex Factory, it's very easy to find people who blow their accounts again and again with +95% win rate.......

    Anyone using Amp futures ?

Agree, except for spread traders (high margin requirement). AMP said "although the CME offers reduced spreads our risk program does not so you must be full margined for each side of the spread." It sounds ridiculous to be honest.

    Future Spread Trading

Anyone know about IB's SpreadTrader? Do I still pay double the commission for the two legs spread trading? Also, how about margin? Does IB provide reduced margin for spread trading? For example, for /NG calendar spread trading, my broker AMP charges $3500 ($1750 x 2) for the margin while CME's...

    Who were your teachers/mentors?

It should be difficult to find good mentors I believe. No one would like to reveal their edge and business secrets in this zero sum game unless they are family or close friends.

MotiveWave Has Made Changes To 3 Of Our Editions -- It's All Good News!

It would be great if we have mobile version of MW which supports both CQG and Rithmic (CQG has its own mobile version while Rithmic doesn't have). NJ and SC are also making mobile version and soon to be released. Very basic charting and order open/close features should be enough in this early...

    Futures spread trading margin

For example, when I buy May contract of /NG and sell June contract of /NG at the same time, my broker AMP still charges $3500 ($1750 x 2) for overnight margin. Is this the same in other brokers?

    What makes MT4 so popular?

Single only reason is its huge community base. There are virtually tons of tons of free indicators and EAs out there. None of them is really helpful to make real money though.

    how to learn trading?

Go to a good university and be hired by well known investment companies like Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley. That should be the best way to learn real trading I believe. Otherwise, you may need +10 years of dunning krugering process before finally you give up....
