    Hedge Fund TV Show

That Pakistani chick trades the Schatz which is the 2 year German note future and not obscure (768,000 contracts today while i am typing) and she is one of its biggest traders. Other random thoughts.... I enjoyed the sign above Jim Rogers' cellar, "Beware of the man who does not drink."...

    Hedge Fund TV Show

I have, and I still think he acts like a D-Bag. He's looking for start up money 15-20 hours a day? Are you serious? He hangs out in a bathrobe and pretends he's a "hedge fund." If you are looking for more money try acting and looking a tiny bit more professional (how about a clean...

    Trading Dummies

Had some luck with INSU. Bought 1000 at 22.84 and got out at 23.64. A little concerned about the big gap up, but if it gravitates back towards it, might be a decent short. Anyone else?

What's the fastest and SAFEST way.....

Is this guy serious? I come in every day and play LORD OF THE RINGS with the market. I walk out battered and bruised, sometimes missing a limb, hopingI can make $2000 a day with no overnight position. Do you really think if I found a way to do this EVERYDAY I would share it with anybody?

Are you one of the best in your field?

Steve, Just wondering if you have read Kenneth Grant's book on risk management. He has been doing risk management for many years (including a stint with Stevie Cohen) and has a very mathematical approach to it, much like plugging your results into an excel sheet. He has come up with so many...

You daytrade, What is your days goal?

I have grappled extensively with goals. I think I can say that having daily goals is a pretty dangerous way to trade. If the market is not readable and you are trying to reach your daily goal, you find yourself trading for this goal and not trading the opportunity. The hardest thing to do...

Most volatile stock/futures/forex/... instrument to daytrade?

The euro is pretty jumpy. Oil, now without NYMEX quotes, is harder to peg. Bund has gotten a lot thinner, but the volume is still there. My $.02.

    Trading dying a slow death

definitely some type of shakeout. Especially with Refco. Have seen lots of Refco guys come through our firm. Lots more choices to trade then when I started 6 years ago. When I first started electronically, it was Bund, Bobl, shatz. When I say more choices, I mean both in products to trade...
