I don't actively trade it i am still relatively a newbie. Just can't fathom how volume can't be a vital tool for swing traders.

I have to get back to the volume debate, being an economist i feel volume role in the market is vital to understanding where price may go. Understanding the market i feel we have to explore the significance of market participants timeframes and then explore the distribution of volume among...

Another countertrend trade offering good R:R imo. Last unit target to 1470.

How can you make long term decisions without examining the volume. I thought the markets is an auction process, how can you understand that process without knowing which time frame participants are in what price??

Agreed completely, volume lets you know who is participating at what time and price in the market. It is invaluable tool which i use everyday - i don't know how you can say volume is subjective???

I always include overnight action into my Wave predictions. Still it was a minor 5 wave correction on 88min chart.

This is from Apex regarding the 50% winning system. I think we can all agree that this guy is a very good trader and has proven this fact many many times.

I do agree with what your saying but their are many ways to identify fakers and which ones are the real deal. All i can do is go by my plan and my parameters, like i said i like to be a dynamic trader and that means i trade a number of different set-ups without being to rigid. This involves...

Lol im sure he does, and i have mine. I have many reasons and parameters for even attempting a counter-trend each time. I have back-tested these methods and things generally hold up well. I have found the disciplined waiting for the entry to be the hardest part but also the most rewarding. I...

Well check APEX post, he clearly does many counter trades and as he states he is only right on about 50% of them. However, he nets huge profits because his risk to reward on these trades is favourable. You can be wrong 3 times in a row with tight 1.5 point stops and still become hugely...

Im sure good traders can both countertrend when their is a high probability of success and also go with the trend at other times. Why be rigid with your approach, i still don't understand how everyone comes on this thread saying that their method is the best way to trade. Last time i checked...

Your english is very confusing, and why you keep knocking counter-trending? IMO counter trends offer the best risk / reward and im sure a lot of other traders agree.

Lol with everyone talking about bodybuilding i thought id shine in - kool to see many lifters who are also traders. I been going gym for 5 years now, currently been 2 weeks out from everything due to another major knee surgery. Saxon 320 bench is huge, very impressive indeed, my max...

This has been rough, can't believe i held it but i can no longer take it no more. Im out of my overnight short at 1464 - close enough to my target. I have been trying to short rallies today and i still got shaken out of many profitable positions.

This is great i get 20 points from my overnoght short. Problem still is that i got squeezed out of by biggest position yesterday when i attempted to short at 1506. Also, i am only short one contract overnight so im going to let this run till we get to 1470.

Im glad i wrote this now because this shows why i am such an amateur trader. What is a good day could have been an amazing day if i had followed my plan.

I agree completely with what your saying, and 1473 was strong resistance but following my plan would have meant: - full position size of 4 contracts, with last 2 as add-on at 1465 - target for the first 3 contracts would then be yesterdays resistance with one unit left on to run to new...
