Nope. I've contributed enough on this topic already and given you plenty to consider. You either believe me or you don't but I'm not sharing my fills or pulls for the day. Sorry.

I don't see what's so mysterious about this. If a stock has news I pull it from my list. Some days I lose 50% of my stocks, some days I lose none. I lose a lot of candidates during earnings season, part of the game. Today I pulled 28% of my list, which is very high for non-earnings season. As...

You do understand that BA was in the news today right? Most of us don't trade news stocks if we can at all help it.

Only after you are filled, generally speaking. But once your fills are over your BP they will immediately cxl your outstanding orders and start liquidating positions. It's a tricky game because the days you get the most fills are usually the best ones.

    Trader P/L 2007

The rules are simple here. Post your blotter or shut your piehole. I think Szevens comments are fine and am extremely impressed with his progress. Now the important part, the blotter.

When IB goes public, say bye bye to low rates

If they were going to raise fees they'd have done it BEFORE the IPO to jack up their margins and get a higher IPO price.

Reasons for failur in automatic trading systems

Don, you have had this anti-ATS attitude for as long as I've read you on these boards. If an ATS has to be tweaked or even intervened with occasionally I don't understand why this invalidates the system. Surely your discretionary trading has evolved over time, no? Old edges go away, new ones...

    Open Letter to Interactive Brokers

I never said they don't have problems, but in my experience the others are far worse. You didn't suggest anyone better..... Take Sterling for example. You can't even do something so basic as to modify an ECN order through their API. Documentation is just a few pages and doesn't even list the...

    Open Letter to Interactive Brokers

I'm not too pleased with IB lately, but their API is bad? Not in my mind. I haven't found a better one. It's by far the easiest for me to bring up a new automated trading system on. Not trying to call you out, but I'd love to hear of some alternatives that you think are better. I'm sure it all...

Share a keyboard and mouse without sharing the monitor

I think you need to put them all in the same workgroup. To do that I think you just need use the network setup wizard on each machine.

I do recall that. That's why I suggested you put your network back to "normal" and try again. Sure, you can PM me with questions.

Share a keyboard and mouse without sharing the monitor

You could still use Synergy where you have more than one computer on a network. You just couldn't run all of them from one common keyboard. [/B]

Share a keyboard and mouse without sharing the monitor

Now you have me confused. Synergy will allow you to use one keyboard/mouse over as many computers as you want as long as they are all connected together on a common network. It's all accomplished with software. Am I not understanding what you want?

Share a keyboard and mouse without sharing the monitor

Maybe you should put your network back to "normal" with no KVM switches? Multiple computers connected to a single router should "just work" in my experience.
