When I was young, the most I squatted was 12 plates -- ONCE
It was way too scary and on average I would squat 8 plates -- much, much more safer feeling since I never asked people to spot me
Now with older age, I just run...lol
If you are a consistently disciplined risk management trader with a statistically viable trading edge then all you have to do is push another button (in addition to your main trading account) and make thousands extra every month for the cost of a few hundred bucks and a few seconds pushing the...
If this situation is handled the right way and it turns out that E2T is allowed to continue operations as normal (despite whatever the outcome of the Ryan situation), E2T will wind up stronger as a business.
IMHO
LoL - out of 5 questions you have asked me directly, I think 3-4 of them were related to my fees. So far all in all, I am profitable on my P2P fees: profit withdrawal.
Disclosure: I am on my 3rd E2T monthly sub with about 4 resets.
I do not know much about NFA, SEC, etc rules and regulations...
But I don't think that companies TopStep, OneUp, Earn2Trade have to be registered..
Am I incorrect? I would love some actual reference material to look over and educate myself
I do think that they could've revealed this on their volition -- b4 everyone read it on a public message forum
Nightmare, yes. But I think it would have gone a long way to protecting their street cred.
These "Pay2Play" firms are not true prop firms and they know it.
In fact, I don't ever think that anyone of them have ever claimed such.
They are labelled as prop firms in this EliteTrader section.
More than 95% of their revenue comes from monthly sub fees and the remainder 5% comes from...
Yes.
I can also shadowbox (demo sim paper trade) all by myself for free but if you want to be able to compete/fight (eventually trade for real profit cash) then I have to pay money and join a fight gym (a "pay2play" prop firm).
Joining a gym gives me an opportunity that I would otherwise not...
Okay.
I'm game.
Sometimes in life, things happen "randomly" and more often that not, things happen by the rule of the universe.
I feel like this is the latter.
Starting today, I will start re-posting my daily performance.
I will pass the evaluation and then let you guys know what my ongoing...
When a company comes across this kind of existential reputational crisis, there are only 2 outcomes:
1) the company eventually and quickly goes out of business due to lack of clients
2) the company becomes "very" transparent (above and beyond normal scrutiny) and becomes an even stronger...
I truly hope that Earn2Trade (as it is right now) is not forced to shut down their operations -- as I do believe they provided a really good opportunity for traders
I've also been tinkering with a 5-point stop.
The fact that my system was really good about not violating the trailing DD much proves that my entries for the most part are fairly risk-averse.
I'm also a fan of wider stops to avoid getting "shaken" out of my position.
One step at a time I...
My new risk management system:
1) Maximum 2 ES contracts (first lot, second lot sequence)
2) 10-point Stop loss on all entries
3) Maximum 3 trades per day
4) Acceptance of my "edge" not on every single trade but rather over a given sample of trades
Great insight.
In addition to the 10-points stop on a maximum of 2 ES contracts, I am also going to only give myself 3 trades per day.
The only reason someone like me can endure all the pain, agony, stress and near-suicides is because I know that my TA strategy is SICK...!
I even created my...
