    Tradestation7 Alternative

gotcha ebo, just that i look at all the other costs too, bloomberg is 1500/month which i think might me worth splitting with someone, then other data shit, programming consulting thinking about, health insurance (how much are you paying btw?), all that adds up to a 2.5k monthly nut.

    Tradestation7 Alternative

Would anyone recommend an alternative to TS6/7? -charting flexibility -scripting ability, accurate backtesting, scanning, filtering (radarscreen) $1200 a year seems kinda steep compared to amibroker and wealthlab but i'm not sure if those two really does what TS can do. Although they...

    The Best Commission Rate Ever

i think when we're talking about .0035 all in, most people are talking about listed rates, ie: "true base" is around .002 + "listed charge of .0015 = .0035. therefore if you did nasdaq arca remove it'd be .002+.004= .006

    The Best Commission Rate Ever

You might be true about Andover's strategy to sell out, but they are still very aggressive in rates, I know several people trading there for .0035-.0045, all-in; using what some people claim to be is better software, the Hammer. I've been around several firms and the transparency just isn't...

    The Best Commission Rate Ever

    - the stock market is not a thousand times more efficient than a blackjack table. and you cant get any more efficient than a roulette table or other games in the casino. at least traders have some edge (though declining and eaten away by costs, slippage) but for most non-card casino games...

    The Best Commission Rate Ever

That's why there should be a free exchange of opinions on facilities, rates, software and other intangibles by traders who are pure traders and do not have interests in firms and LLC's. This market should be more transparent, because currently: sometimes you get more than what you pay for and...

MondoTrader Elite Member Registered: Oct 2002 Posts: 779 02-07-03 07:07 PM "the answer is........ your assumption that they pay people to trade is totally false." Mondo, you're an idiot, where do you get off saying that? They PAY trainees an actual salary (not draw) of 45,000 to learn...

dude, why don't you just call him and ask for yourself. my rate is my rate, I'm not at etrade and I'm happy with my situation and setup. I think if a trader's doing ~100ish a day they probably could call up etrade or some of the other firms and basically get the deal I have. heck, your deal...

CAN YOU READ ENGLISH OR ARE YOU DELIBERATELY TRYING TO CONFUSE PEOPLE? I REALLY CANT BELIEVE SOMEONE AS SMART AS YOU CAN'T READ A SENTENCE CORRECTLY: " yes, my rate is .0035, all inclusive, I do ok volume, around 80-200 and no I'm not "in with the boss", people in this business will want to...

I'm getting tired of this. first i didnt say .0035, i said .0045, second there's no 50,000 capital contribution, if you open retail, it's 30k min, otherwise, you put up 5-10k for prop. you can pm me if you want the phone # of the guy running the operation, or let me know if i'm allowed to post...
