Steve ... This is very good advice from jho. Yahoo finance is a decent free source of information on current makets as well as some educational material. Exchanges have websites which offer education on trading/investing. For example www.nyse.com, www.ecbot.com.... etc. best of luck...

Sudden moves in CL/QM portend an opposite YM move of late. Pretty obvious.

Try the Search feature...with "scanner".

IB is not a bad choice. You can set up and control multiple accts if needed, many markets available, API, financially sound, interest on your funding level is good. Getting out of trades - you should maybe investigate more. I havent had to do it. Maybe others can comment on their experiences...

samosa ... So it looks like you must really decrease the gut feel trades and increase discipline to follow rules. Have you done any simm/paper trading with live tickers??? How do you know your system "works"?? If arent sure your system is "effective" then the urge to gut trade will increase...
