I bought CL at 92.13, stop loss at 91.91. I thought it would go down, at sold at 92.00 this morning, but it showed strength so I reversed my position. Maybe today will be a whipsaw day.

I am not sure that I am the best person to help you, but here is my observations with regard to scalping CL. CL routinely takes off with nary a pullback. This makes it hard to find the typical pullback setup. Between about 8:30 and 10:30 am eastern time, CL tends to have momentum swings...

Does anyone know the last time CL went limit up or limit down? Was it 2007-08, or before that? (Just curious). Also, any thoughts on whether CL tends to have an average trading day on Columbus Day, or is it more like Labor Day or 4th of July (quiet low volume low volatility)?
