STEP 1 Sell high vol puts STEP 2 Pray STEP 3 Profit? I remember when I sold some Nov SPY puts on Oct 10th. Mostly they decayed but on expiration day they were mildly in the money, massively ITM by 3PM and expired worthless at 4PM. Good luck and enjoy the ride!

What I love about that chart is that if you went back 2-3 days you would see the support. Talk about manipulating the information...the whole point of charts is to be (somewhat) objective! Well done.

Not sure if I quite understand the question...it seems very basic. If you are charged 14 bucks for a round trip then you made 357 of them so far. At 5 bucks a turn, IB would cost you 1785 and save you 3215. Sure, you'd be profitable then ! :) It would be 4.80 with futures plus the advantages...

I'm blown away by the honesty ! Was expecting 80% saying they're up. My guess is that a substantial amount of losers are no longer on the board or don't want to reply so the winners is probably more like 10%.

lol, I sold puts on Oct 10th thinking I could let the Oct ones just expire worthless. Had to get out when vol went up and above the levels on the 10th. Unfrickin-believable. You'd have to be risk-lovin to be still short vol in this market!

I don't trade forex... it is largely unregulated. It's hard enough to trade and make money in any instrument without having to worry if your broker is going to screw you. It's like a bucket shop. If you can, trade currency futures instead. If that's too expensive then just trade equities...
