I've read some articles and it just confused me more.
According to investopedia, open interest is the amount of contracts that has not settled for the asset? What does that even mean "have not settled"?
I'm taking a wild guess these are somewhat like limit orders? So it's the same as the...
I saw something that looks like it in the "wheel" of their mobile app but that's not it.
How do I get order flow for S&P 500? Does IB offer it? is it free?
Don't trust everything you read in the NYT? They've been proven to delude the facts and prove they have an anti-trump narrative. That's all irrelevant since the question is if we're losing the Trade war? China's suffering more than us. They just devalued their currency the other day. Now is...
It's impossible to tell how much this trade war's "Future" cost is. I agree markets are forward looking but in this context makes no sense. If S&P is valued at 23x, that's what the market sees as the current balance of the politics in Washington and China? That's silly.
If you want to look at...
Doesn't it come full circle because the Fed does react to earnings from a macro point of view? Also what do you mean by liquidity? (I know what liquidity is) but is he talking following asset classes that are increasing in volume? As a very amateurish example, the S&P is very liquid....?
This is just another example of the transfer of wealth from poor to rich!
Small cap stocks lost their edge and the Large caps are gaining. The only small cap stock that is doing well is AMD. Flawed Capitalism!!!
Is this a real recovery from Q42018? The large cap stocks are reaching new highs with S&P leading. However, the Russell 2000 is suffering and has not recovered from 2018... Any thoughts on where this is going and if this spread is ever going to close?
Do you see this as another "transfer" of...
Ya telling me? Most people i know didn't even hear about the plane malfunctioning because BA covered up the story so well. Sure people can find out if they research it, but 100+ people died and it wasn't that well covered by the news.
Eh? Why trade if you can just write articles for a living. Some people probably better off researching and writing articles with their information instead of trading with it. No risk right?
Ofcourse the downside is there is a chance you can make zero. But hey at least you can't lose money...
Is there another PMI besides IHS? Here is the US we have a few options. I personally prefer ISM but they're not in EU.
Do you have a breakdown of which country is causing it? Since Germany and UK create most of the GDP I figure it might be them...
Can somebody just plainly explain to me how these people who (most of them) don't have positions in the underlying make money writing these articles from seeking alpha, thestreet, motley fool etc?
Are they free lance? Or do they work for Seeking Alpha etc..?
Are they just borrowing website...
They pretty much bought up every valuable IP. I can't believe they own most of Fox now! What do you think? We'll be seeing DC and Marvel Heros in movies one day when Disney owns everything?
All speculation. It's hard to say with the bias media. if it's from CNN they'll stop at nothing to highlight only the bad points and speculate Trump's plans to fail. If it's Fox, they'll do the opposite. We'll see what unfolds with Huawei in the future.
I like how you two "conservatives" are duking it out. If one of you were a leftist, you'd throw eggs on the other one and ask ET to perma ban!!!
Good thing this isn't twitter also.
