Bush has already stated the economy is OK... what else would he say now? I disagree, it's not OK, but this is just a cycle exaggerated by the mortgage BS... nothing more. Let the damned market self-correct. Down to 7,000, then back to a bull market.

If I own XYZ trading, a sole proprietorship in the business of trading futures full-time in a normal futures account, and my wife, who files her 1040 separately, and has her own futures trading account/platform/data...
The ratio of naysayers to positive posters on ET is directly proportional to the ratio of losing traders to profitable traders on ET. Think about it. Why would people with money want to hang around with people who cannot enjoy life the same way?
During times of good volume, I have seen 1,000 ES cars driven through with zero slippage on limit orders. NQ and YM are much lower, well under 100. Working on a scenario spreadsheet? :)
Right. And sometimes neither one will work on any given day. In which case you step away from the PC for the day and go do something fun or unhealthy, or both.
If a trader is so careless to lose months of earnings, they deserve a lashing with a cat of nine tails, then banishment to the doghouse.
Agreed that some traders are simply not happy in traditional employment or self-employment, and are wired to do this and nothing else.
