Not quick enough to get filled on any trades in the last half hour here. I'll review tonight but I think I missed at least 6 trades due to not getting filled so it might just be worth it to pay that spread and get in. I'll do more analysis later on tonight but filled on 3 trades, +11 ticks in ES...

No deal, I was in the stack on the bid at 1084.75 but no fill. That's a few times today that I've missed the good turn because I've been stuck in the stack. When I get a good opportunity like that I really just need to take the 85's and pay a tick to get into the trade.

I hear ya, trying to buy ES down here. no fill yet though.

Thanks man, sometimes it takes a sloppy day like yesterday to remind myself what the rules are. Taking some time last night and going over my trades and my charts I think has allowed me to tighten things up today and trade much better.

Really not much going on so far after lunch, very choppy. Going over my trades from yesterday I definitely got a little too aggressive so I'm dialing it down a little bit and being more selective today.

Interesting day so far. I have just taken a couple trades this morning so far and actually just missed two fills on another couple really good trades. I'm tightening up the rules a little bit after yesterday and definitely seeing the market much better.

No trades for me here in the first half hour, although I did try to short ES on that last pop but it moved down too quickly to get my 1100.75 offer filled. The first half hour is feast or famine for me usually. I tend to need to see things play out a bit before I'm very active in the market.

I'm undecided on what that spike means so far. ES needs to get convincingly over 1097.50 for me to consider it breaking out and maybe going back to the morning highs. Ever since about 11am we've carved out a trading range between 1091 and 1097.50.

Hi David, I don't actually use set stops when I'm in a trade. I get out whenever the conditions for being in the trade change. Sometimes that's with a scratch, sometimes with a 4 tick loser.
