And Spydertrader has stated that there are NO hard-and-fast rules. I disagree with you that intuitive decision making is non-stationary. Innumerable psychometric experiments in the 60's proved otherwise. In general it follows a binary decision model, except that the subject is not aware of the...

Beyond the hype of hershey futures method journal

RT, I admire your ambition, but you are about to find out that Jack does not give out hard-and-fast rules. To do so would subject the method to the kind of rigorous testing you seek to accomplish. Let me simply say that others have gone before you. My comment is meant in no way to denigrate SCT...

How in the world do these young traders plan to make a career

What is your problem? The dumber other people trade, the easier it is for you to make money.

Sorry, Nkhoi, didn't mean to waste bandwidth and storage. The most interesting thing to me was Amed's revelation that non-SCT traders draw multi-day channels with only intraday data. I thought that preversion was unique to Jack. But I've learnt my lesson. I won't post any more trades for a...

BTW, Jack, what you had to say was very interesting and would go over better not directed at me (looks bad for you to be seen talking to ETidiots). I recommend you clean it up and publish it elsewhere here, somewhere people are more likely to look for serious opinions.

Amed, thanks for the rational response. Very cleaver. I never draw such trendlines on principle because I firmly believe that overnight action is a legitimate part of the landscape. IMO drawing such channels is meaningless because leaving out the overnights distorts the time scale. But, WTF, if...

Jack, hope you can find this response in amongst the graven images. Thanks for responding to my earlier thread about the economy. I knew that you would have a unique perspective. I have saved your response and will spillchick it later for improved readability. But I don't want to remove any...

    Take This Trade, Hershey Traders?

Oh, and thanks, guys. I thought it was a brilliant fucking trade. I had fantasies of explaining the arcane abstruse recondite logic behind it. Of extolling the virtues of my way over Jack's highway. Of having hordes of nubile nubies beg me to explain the exit. Instead all you fuckers want is yet...

Tiresome I agree with. A scary thought what Dolly looks like, but I actually look a lot like Jack. Seventies horn-rimmed aviators, re-seeding hairline, grey hair, florid complexion (from imbibing too much vino), liver spots, big nose (it only gets larger the older you get, same for the ears)...

Jack, I can always count on you for a little levity when I post seriously. First, let me assure most sincerely that it is not I posting your handsome photo. Nor am I the current pack of assholes who are harassing you, although I do agree that you deserve it. If I didn't have the utmost...

Best of luck to you in your quest for the big bucks! If I might offer a humble suggestion, the Conventional Orthodoxy will get you there faster than SCT will. But then again, maybe not, as your brain is younger than mine, hahaha!

Now this is getting interesting. Could you comment further on why you believe futures trading is less risky than trading stocks? I happen to agree with you.

Well if you trade stocks that well, why not stick to it? I'll bet you trade relatively simple patterns with stocks. For NQ I currently have to keep 57 distinctly different setups in my head and detect them at a one-minute pace. SCT is trivial by comparison.

Cokie, you had to go open your mouth. It took you 12 cars to make less in mighty ES than I made with ONE car trading pitiful NQ? With SCT to guide you? With that kind of expectation you HAVE to trade large! The B-Team will be reciting that stat for decades to come. Congrats on the stock...

Small calibre, good luck teaching Jack anything new. He flew into an apoplectic rage when I said I draw channels upside-down.

Thank you for defending me, Thunderdog, but "I went down to the demonstration, to get my fair share of abuse." Indeed I do make entries off a one-minute chart, but I also run five one-second studies that require these crippled old fingers to try to react faster than they can. But my REAL speed...
