    Understanding price action

It would be very helpful if you would figure out the difference between THEN and THAN. I found it hard (impossible) to follow your post because you seem to use them indiscriminately. I think you may have had something interesting to say, but I gave up trying to decipher what you meant vs what...

do you know how to deal with this situation...

Excellent idea! Confront the fear instead of avoiding it. Thanks for the post.

How can you even claim that technicals matter?

Yes. I said that. I can explain it more fully, but not in a sound bite.

This is the end. We are witnessing collapse of the global economy

It's simple, really. Close the federal government. Without the government in the way, regulating and taxing everything, the free market can be free to do what it does best - solve problems, produce stuff, move products, sell things, provide services. Free markets always do that. Governments get...

Bullish at a Time of Extreme Panic (Larry Williams)

Monthly charts. Bull = higher highs and higher lows. Bear = lower highs and lower lows. For example, TQQQ Highs were 8/31/19 and 3/31/20. Lows were 12/31/19 and 3/31/20. Of course 3/31/20 has not happened yet, but it's looking strongly that way. You could use, SPY, IWM, or the Dow, too.

Bullish at a Time of Extreme Panic (Larry Williams)

Yes, Larry and I are saying the bull market is intact. I'm saying it's not time to buy yet. I plan to buy, but not today, and probably not for another week or more. I have written a volatility indicator, and posted on my Youtube channel about it. It says the bottom is not in yet. My guess is...

Bullish at a Time of Extreme Panic (Larry Williams)

I agree with Larry. He's one of my favorite traders. Here's my addition. It's not time to buy yet.

    I'm getting whipsawed, and I need advice/opinion

Stop trading based on fundamentals and main stream news. Stay out of the market for a while.

I am older, too (75). I learned TradeStation in a couple of weeks. It can do pretty much any sort of scan or inquiry you can imagine. Furthermore, they have a user forum that is free. People will help you.

Online Trading Academy Sued by FTC

I did the OTA basic course many years ago for about $2,000. I though it was an excellent introductory course about how the stock market works. BTW. they pointed out at the beginning of the course that they were not attempting to teach students how to make money; they were attempting only to show...

    400 Trading Algorithms Later

Thank you for the excellent post. I seldom respond to posts here, but yours is excellent and worthy, IMO. I have written about 250 automated and profitable algorithms, mostly in TradeStation Easy Language and MT4. I have traded some of these live. Currently, I am trading only two. My combined...

Tommcginnis Your post is an excellent example of lots of knowledge and no wisdom. Thanks for owning it, and thus providing just a pinch of wisdom.

How can you even claim that technicals matter?

Corona virus did not move the market. Neither did Iran, or fires, or any other news event. Markets move as a result of people buying and selling - nothing else. You'd be wise to stop reading news, altogether. News FOLLOWS the markets; it does not lead.

    Has the correction begun?

As long as Trump is president, the market is not coming down.
