FOMC minutes

This has been very good day for me, sold the other 2 long contracts previously. Like Spooz i had orders which did not get filled first time round but 2 got filled on the retrace back to 64. Still expecting new highs of the day - but out one at 68.

Well i would rather we both got some nice gains with the longs - now parameters have been hit so higher probability long for my system anyway. Tight stop in place and exit if things change. Out 1 here at 67.50, holding other 2 for new HOD.

I was long from 65 but out now - has not hit all my parameters so expected some more downside before i get long again for higher probability long. Guess it will blast of now that im out lol :D

Ya i hear ya - but certain parameters in my system have been hit, so nice probability short in my system anyway. Also, gives me nice risk to reward - only lost 1.5 points on last short so as you can see i get out quick when my parameters change. See ya im out of here , 1 tick loss on last...

Okay shorting again - 71.75. Target 63-60 - still up for the day so as saliva said betting with the houses money. Tight stop - if this fails im done for the day.

Gettin short now - full position. With a close stop, looking for 1560 as target. Damn - Bulls are just too strong. Still in the position, stop at 72. Out at 71.25 - no shorting this bull.

I don't know how others use BBs but i use them as such: I have them on all timeframes - lower bollinger is set at 2.3 as when it goes down it goes down quick. On the 1 min timeframe BBs represent areas of chop and simple scalping opportunities during quiet times. On the 5 min timeframe...

Ya me too - i like my BBs - also RSI sometimes on longer timeframe and moving averages to show some extra confluence when they land perfectly on S/R regions. Apart from from that - never used things like MACD and even stochastics. They all lag no matter what anyone says!

Did you guys take this long signal - head and shoulders breakout on 5 min chart. If it holds target should be aleast 1450. :D

Thanks for the advice guys. I have taken much consideration over the matter and have decided to get rid of my daily and weekly targets - as you guys said, the markets are dynamic. Hence, with daily targets this forces me to make trades to meet the quota when probability of winning is lower...
