I don't know what he means by that. Nothing has fundamental value, except what people value it for. Gold, diamonds etc. Bitcoin might be less valued than those, but might have some value.

It doesn't always apply on every trade. Another reason for it to not be used as a negative of trading.

I wasn't so clear about my point. I agree it's a zero sum game. I am taking issue with the fact that it's mentioned to be this evil thing that only exists in trading and not in "regular" jobs. And that it's something to feel guilty about.

Should the opening candles be read as part of the pre-market pattern, or as their own individual trend? E.g. If premarket was going down, and opening candles up, I'm looking at a pullback for short. If opening candles are their own thing, I'm looking at a long. Is this CVS move up from 9:45...

The 9:30 and onward candles have much greater volume than the premarket, doesn't that make them have more weight to their direction?

What is your opinion on pre-market price action? Does it mean less than the opening candles?

I am noticing something today on SQ, which I would like to cross examine with you gentlemen. SQ today ran up, and then reversed back down to low of day at $73. It has since gone all the way back up to high of day, instead of continuing downward past the opening low. I checked the daily charts...

Alas, I am notorious on this forum. I have actually identified that half of my trades have been shooting myself in the foot, so I hope for my winrate to be better. Regardless, I have seen this form of profit target mentioned in a few places, and its logical to me.
