I do have a sense of humor, when the jokes are good.... I had spoken with surfer since then. I told him that the support I had set was very loose, and it was quite possible that he could be correct. Of course, you skipped that post. Now that you are done riding anothers coattails, what...

Well, your fixation on Barney needs attention from a therapist. The rest of us seem to be interested in profits. Feel free to chime in with a question that shows signs of brain activity on your part at any time.

I am not sure exactly how they compare, as I am not sure what you are doing. My analysis of the S&P is telling me that the index is severely overbought short term. I would be thinking about shorting this at 908.80. My exit target is 898.44 and then 890.63

Slope, vector and degrees are all relevant. Particularly degrees. Degrees are what connect the circle to the square. For exmaple, 45 degrees represent the quarter cycle on a circle. Slope and vector can used to measure momentum and distance travelled, which are relevant in determining how much...

Okay, fair enough. Gallieo's principle of equivalence states that inertial mass equals gravitational mass which causes a particle to travel in a definite curve. REGARDLESS OF MASS OR COMPOSITION. In other words, a thing set in motion will not travel in a straight line in terms of...

I got lucky, I found Gann before Schwager, et al. By the time I found out that Gann is not supposed to work, it was already working!:)

I would get them both. The manual is poorly written,IMO. The CD is much a better presentation.

You say: I can make a perfectly square chart with CQG and still accidentally manipulate the price axis simply by switching from bar to candlestick, or changing the width of the candlesticks. Angles also change as the chart formats itself to fit the highs and lows. I say: Correct again, now...

Because the angles are based on a situation where the price and time axis were equivalent. That means the 45 degree angle was not based on a rectangle, which is what your monitor shows, but on a square. Gann used standard engineering graphing paper to draw his charts, so that time and space...

Not here to start a fight, but you mentioned that Schwager and Co. commented on the SCALE dependent nature of the angles, and they are absolutely correct. That is why the charts must be SQUARED before the angles are applied. So I guess they missed that too. Some very good traders may...

Correct, it is Gann's square of ten, and works similarly to the square of nine. I think surfer made that statement because he didn't square the charts before he drew the lines. This is a common oversight.

I just found this thread. Nice! Looking at my own charts of NDX, I can now see the channel that you are using. I will follow your posts.

I have also decided that a challenge proves little. I must be honest and say that I thought you were one of those myopic "my system is the only system that works" traders, before we actually began to conversate. I have this thing about friendly fire, and day trading against a Gann trader...

Yeah, the sad part is that people will come and bash Gann, bash Murrey, and not have made a SINGLE trade with the methodology. I have been told that marketsurfer is a Gann trader. His absence is inexplicable. I was so hoping that wappers, the most obnoxious of them all, would be there, but...

At 1 pm EST, I went to the elite chat room. Marketsurfer was not there. I was disappointed, but I stayed. I went on to demonstrate the precision of MM by making a short ( in a raging bull market) of 54.04 in MSFT, and exiting at 53.81 for a quick 200 bucks in real time. I can do that...

I also wanted to mention that once you are admitted to mmxapp, you will have the opportunity to download a free MM simulator, that uses a datafeed, I think it is Qcharts. There is also an esignal plugin there. Make sure to READ, not BROWSE, through the archives. This last year especially...

Okay, I hear and understand what you are telling me. But your analogy is inaccurate. Murrey does claim that his system is the only one needed to be a successful trader, and that is correct. Murrey claims that he made improvements on one of Gann axioms, and that is also correct...

I used to have Traderbambu's method for getting into his trading room, but it has been so long, that I have forgotten. Go the yahoogroup mmxapp and register. Traderbambu can be reached from there.

For some reason, I missed your web page when I first decided to issue this challenge, but it is good to know that I was accurate about your status as a top gun. You are a Gann trader. I know many Gann traders who are critical of Murrey for his style, but not his work. What exactly to...
