That is correct. The March 2009 low is famous for having occurred with 2-3 days of a full moon, as many other major lows have.

Agree, ES hit trendline off July 2010 lows and bounced, and we got a +1400 tick. Short is not the trade now.

Stay up late and trade the Europe opening session. It usually packs a solid trend punch in ES or 6E.

3:55pm, 104k contract trade at the ask for ES. Someone big covered. CBOE equity put to call at 0.97. Short is getting crowded.

Just open up the IB book trader DOM, while you are connected to Kinetic for charts and more reliable bid/ask data. No need to sign up for Kinetic MD. Or just open an IB market depth window.

There will be no QE3, i.e no more bond purchases past June 30th. The fear of a run on the dollar is actually a bigger concern now.

Paul Rotter, arguably the greatest daytrader of all time (certainly the biggest in terms of volume), uses P&F. Not saying it's the best or for everyone but it is definitely used by quite a few professional old timers.

Their feed is not as bad as many say, I have often used it, including with cumulative Delta. But DTN IQ or Kinetick (same house) as a feed and trades placed through IB is a standard set up as well. You need to ask NT, should not be an issue.

Program trading, it happens across the board, not just DOW stocks. But more to the point, there were bearish divergence all day long, it was not wise to stay bullish late in the day on a Friday under those circumstances.

The real question is why did you not identify the day as chop (a most likely scenario, one we have all been through in formative years)? So yes, quit if you are losing, but more importantly identify why you were losing.

Furthermore, Orange county is the only major county in California to have declared bankruptcy, again under Republican leadership. Moral of the story: not everything is always what it appears to be.

I find all these generalities on California quite entertaining, but maybe folks that are not from this state should be reminded that Newport Beach is Reagan country and that the entire county (Orange) is 100% republican run. So enough of this leftist stuff, Newport Beach would be insulted.
