This trade was calamity from the get go.. charting issues meant that this entry was way off, i held to my stop/target which i should have probably adjusted.. then i should have stopped out but i didn't and then it filled at target I'll post a better breakdown tonight.

Well every 5 minutes I'm flipping through a lot of charts looking for setups.. Once the trade is on there's no need to watch it very carefully

I trade on a 23" monitor or a 15" laptop depending on what location i'm at. One 5min chart linked to a daily chart + order entry and another 5min chart for another stock to watch.. I trade with a remote prop account. geez trades off a 15" laptop.

1. This is only for stocks that are extended on the daily chart. A stock can only run in the same direction at a high velocity for so long. 2. The daily chart, intra-day chart and relative strength are all taken into account and should correlate. Looks long daily, looks strong intra day...

Basically something that's been moving strong up or down over the past few days.. Take a look at VRX daily chart up to May 3rd. I'm looking for it to push into new levels (52w high or low) multiple days in a row and closing on the highs (or lows)

No signals in a technical sense, just pattern recognition.. lower highs, higher lowers, relative weakness..
