Long or short? Why,TA or FA?

Stock traders are very welcome in the futures arena.... to lose their money. If a stock trader, who has had big success in stocks with thousands and thousands of trades, enters the future business he will have to learn that he has not seen it all, IMHO. :D

Totally right, Ditch. But as NQ has been good to me and I feel good vibrations with NQ I don't switch to ES although you are right. But if that kind of range is establishing I have to rethink, of course.

IMHO you don't get much premium with that kind of vola. :(

We are trading in a range less than 5 points for about an hour now. Opening is supposed to have the biggest volatility, damn.

To sum up there is a realized gain of 14% + 4.1% + 9%% = 27.2% and an open position that is 10.5% in the green(at least so far).

Just sold the other half of the position I bought @ 26.30 @ 28.68 with a gain of 9%. Still long initial position @25.98.

Cutton- more patience, less pain, more gain... sounds good, but you have to make a decision. If I would wait longer, I would definitely miss same trades and would hardly get an entry. I know that I often lack patience. but on the other side I consider myself to be a decision maker and a risk...

I see a reversal and I smell a short squeeze. Short % of Float (as of 8-Oct-03): 37.06%. :p Last quote: $ 29.00. LOL.

I see some puts on my screens falling as much as 50-60%. Nice. :p
