What's with all the ask size showing on the Euro futures???

I watched it in real time since the down to 1.1875 Then there were two ordinary attempts for 1.19(10) break. The last attempt was very volatile and picked the euro up to 1.1920 in seconds. It seems for sure someone wanted it to be closed daily above 1.1920 level.

7 feb 2006 brutal yen correction, any thoughts?

Don't actually understand what you mean by contracting or expanding but I expected such unusual indirect bid, i.e. very high or very low because it's been first issuance since August 2001. Such indirect bid means that an overseas demand is still ready to absorb US rising appetites.

7 feb 2006 brutal yen correction, any thoughts?

[The 30-year Treasury auction drew an impressive 65.4% indirect bid. Coupled with the encouraging 4.8% indirect bid at Wednesday's 10-year auction this suggests overseas demand for US assets remains strong. The bid/cover ratio was 2.05 - in line with the 2001 average.]

Well, in my charts: The gold correction started at 12.30GMT (US open) Yen correction started at 07.00GMT (EU open) Both is "simple profit taking" - for today...

As I've got good profit from other pairs, I've just sold half of 1.1450 long position with zero profit.

Yeah, this pair is so unique that people decided it should depend on oil, commodities etc. as it doesn't depend towards general USD sentiment. I'm wondering if major very heavy flows are concentrated in that down monthly trend since 1.6 and if a super stop loss exist? :D
