If somebody has an experience of copying losing strategy with reverse?

What you really want is retail flow. You can buy the average position of clients from retail brokers and trade the opposite, that works quite well but only in FX.

Futures market not conquered by hft yet

If you buy an ETF of SPY. You take a discretionary decision to buy the SPY etf. However, I am pretty sure that Spider will then use systems to automatically buy - this is likely accounted as computer flow even tho it's not.

Futures market not conquered by hft yet

As futures is centralized around a single venue (very different from stocks and other securities), HFT actually has a fairly good impact on the liquidity that you can find. What you call HFT in futures is simply market makers, but because you don't aggregate prices from different dark pools...

Brokers With High Minimum Starting Balance

It's usually minimum fee + more expensive commissions than IB. I'd say Prime Brokers get 90% to 95% of the institutional business.

Brokers With High Minimum Starting Balance

A give-up is the process of executing somewhere and clearing somewhere else. If you have a prime brokerage account with NewEdge, it is completely normal to call an inter-dealer broker in Brazil and ask to open a relationship with them. These are often human-based relationship, e.g. you call...

converting price data to sound or charts to sounds

You're late at this game, human. You can buy rats that grew up listening to the sounds of the market and who trade accordingly: http://www.artmarcovici.com/rat-traders

Brokers With High Minimum Starting Balance

Actually.... seems like IB has a full-fledged PB model now.... I'd give them a try because banks have become so obsolete it gives me headaches https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=3182

Brokers With High Minimum Starting Balance

I would say a broker that is specific to what you do. If you're doing futures / options, try to look at ADM Investor Services, RJO Brien, etc. They have a 100k-ish minimum and you'll have at least 1 point of contact who takes you out to the pub and who you can chat about trading with. Not saying...

Brokers With High Minimum Starting Balance

Yes. Most serious PB (prime brokers) firms have a minimum of 5m$ to 10m$ with minimum monthly fees ranging from 10k$ to 25k$. I've had experiences where a 15m$ account with SocGen took more than 6 months to open. NewEdge (now SocGen), Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley.... they all have...

Dude stop saying bullshit. You keep your code on your server, you send signals through RabbitMQ, takes you 10 minutes to implement, you keep your code there.... jesus We get your signals and then we relay the way we want to the counterparties. Not sure what big deal you're making out of...

HFT strategies for FX - anyone ?

Server cost in NY4 is 2,000 $ per month per U, you need at least 2U per servers and you want at least 2 servers to have some sort of fail-over capacity, or a blue/green dev/prod environment. Then they force you to have a physical firewall and maintenance can only be done by a certified team...

HFT strategies for FX - anyone ?

I never asked for the IP, did I ? Sorry if this wasn't clear. I have one relationship with each of the venues mentioned above, I'm not using Baxter or MarketFactory. You could indeed do the same if you were ready to spend 15k$ a month on co-location and had 10m$ to open two PB accounts (or...
