Hey team,
I'm trying to add a second monitor to a dell optiplex that is a slim case. I tried installing an extra video card I had but it wouldn't fit in the slim case.
So the question is (and forgive me i'm not up on my hardware)
Is there another way besides adding a video card to...
Yeah, but think about it? Z7 (the first red) is a bet on the libor 90 day in dec 2007...nobody knows or really cares what thats gonna be a year prior. The prices of the whites are significant. The volume in the reds has less to do w/ the price and more to do w/ them being a hedge vs. stuff...
I was of the opinion once that I was better at everything w/ a little alcohol, but you start to realize all it does is take away inhibitions...which for some us does improve things.
I could see how if your like this, it would seem like a good idea to have a shot....no more seeing a good...
Tough call on what charts to offer for Euros.
I would say it would probably be sufficient to do the first four outrights and the first three spreads....possibly even that is overkill for people that don't really follow euros. No need to get into the reds.
equities are FIFO, thats the answer. If your asking what happens if some orders simultaneously hit the market, I'm sure there's some algorithm for that or else somebody just gets a fill first. Its not really much worth questioning, unless you think that orders coming in at precisely the same...
no, they have alot to do with each other. Generally, bonds rally when equities break and vice versa. Recently, however, its been a little more complicated. But anyway, yeah, they're not mutually exclusive. Which leads which depends on other stuff.
Indeed, I don't know if I mentioned this but I've traded the same way out of an office in pennsylvania before with a 10meg pipe and only three traders using it...it was ok for a bit but we started getting lag when there was a glitch with a server in DC, we couldn't scalp with it, when your used...
I think a big part of why there's so much dissent here is because scalping ES w/ a retail setup from a normal DSL line is probably close to impossible. Thats probably what most guys here have expirience with (retail). And thats probably why guys are saying you can't buy bids, etc. Scalping...
exactly. Its on it our trading gallery all day, as background noise, if something blows up we have bloomberg. Cnbc gives us a visual of whatever's blowing up. Other than that, theres nothing else, and the chicks are hot.
Charts are secondary w/ scalping like this, the book and time and sales are by far the most important. Other than that some guys will probably say tick charts, but the usual is probably 3, 5, 15 minute
no prob. One other thing you might want to look into if you give this a shot...try trading at night first. I haven't heard many guys on this board talk about it, but Globex is open and there's usually one of two good moves in the S&P's overnight, when europe is open. The advantage when your...
I don't know, i barely even watch equities, but stuff like that changes alot. A year and a half ago and some times in between crude was a great indicator for ES, now something else is probably leading the way.
Something else you'll come to realize if you follow this far enough....prices...
If your actually considering opening an account and putting some money up, take into consideration the very simple yet often overlooked fact that nothing is as easy as it seems. If it was really so simple to half tick the ES all day, we'd all be doing it.
Further, what you'll come to see...
trading the ES this way without learning from someone that does it profitably is so difficult, I would go so far as to say impossible for just about anybody. If you had a great mentor you'd have a shot. But what I'm guessing you'd find if you found such a person is that there are other markets...
