    Non-display fees

Robert - use of API would trigger the requirement for filling out the non-display data declaration for NYSE by the user of the data. But the declaration may state that there is no "non-display" data use, no?

    Non-display fees

I really don't see how this is enforceable on individual API users. Let's say someone connects to the API in order to generate his own charts. That is, almost by definition, a "display" use - right? So he fills out a declaration for the NYSE, claiming no "non-display" use. Exactly how will NYSE...

    Non-display fees

This applies only to "professionals" AFAIU from the docs supplied. Can one be a non-professional "algo trader"? Again, AFAIU this is the definition of "professional" (from IB): Is registered or qualified with: the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission...

    Multiply Charts with IB Help

"12 large LED monitors" Pics. Definitely need pics. I can't imagine a setup that would include 12 monitors that would be useable (that is, not involve a windowless turret room with the rotating chair in the middle of the room and monitors on all the walls). Although THAT would be cool.

    RSI vs Wilder's RSI Calculation

I don't think your calculation of RSI is correct. For one thing, it basically uses a variable-period (up to the total # of data points) MA, while RSI is supposed to use a fixed-period MA. Also, your calculation is equivalent to using an SMA, while the classic RSI uses EMA (and Wilder's RSI uses...

    Non-Display Fees

kmiklas, I think your interpretation is unnecessarily broad. But then, it all hinges on what the exchanges want to accomplish - it is their data and they can put whatever restrictions they want on it. "Data recipient's display" can be very narrowly interpreted as showing quotes or more broadly...

Best color setup for intraday trading

Every user has his preferences, there is no universal "best" color scheme. It our software, we give the users a set of 7 pre-balanced color schemes for charts. We compiled these from years of user-suggested ones, and, of course, users can create their own color schemes as well. Examples...

    Non-Display Fees

"use as a basis for decisions" does not equal automated trading... As far as I can determine from plain English, unless it is a full-autotrading platform, it doesn't fall under the requirement to pay those fees. (IANAL, etc. etc.) Our trading platform (Medved Trader), like every other trading...

Indian Govt digs for 1000 tonnes of gold based on dream

gold has "low conductivity"? Apart from this: 1000 tons of gold is 32 million troy ounces of gold. Or somewhere between $10 and $40 billion, depending on how much the price of gold will be depressed by dumping that much of it on the market. $40B is going to save India from bankruptcy? I...
