SEC Suspends Trading in Multiple Issuers Based on Social Media and Trading Activity

The up/downgrades make the price fly or crash, at times. Other times like Citron/Muddy Waters type can ruin people.

SEC Suspends Trading in Multiple Issuers Based on Social Media and Trading Activity

When GS & co up/downgrade a stock, it's legitimate. But when a YouTuber does it, they're fair game. SEC also failed in the Madoff case. They're still letting Steven Cohen trade (the criminal). The SEC is a spectacular failure.

I was not talking about those specific cases. If we are talking about this case, then we need to ask how they got to be tradable without having filed the prerequisite information. Maybe the SEC should do their job better.

nvm there was still a 5 sec delay, it just made the stock disappear as soon as I pressed. Even tough it was not closed at the time. Made back much of the loss but had it closed when I pressed, would have been up on the day. Whatever

Blew all my gains from a TSLA short. The price level was right but it made a sharp reversal in a single min in the real account but I chased it in the C2 one after but it was too late. So I held it for a bit but kept going up so I closed it eventually. C2 doesn't have TWS to connect to is a...

Yes, I avoid holding overnight when possible. There are occasional trades where next day direction/gap can be estimated with good probability (as long as its not earnings). I do trade the early morning volatility at times as well. It isn't quite as precise as usual but still has positive reward...
