We want to see volume ramping up on the 5 minute bars... with bars ABOVE about 13600. It's mid lunch + non-working volume now... time for shenanigans.

Propping it up... I think they are giving buyers a sense of security to step in ...need the sell stops to run it down. We saw this last night in micro mode. However - FOMC tomorrow might be a big monkey wrench depending on how long this takes to pan out.

You may have answered your own question here... you and a boatload of other guys have a stop resting at that price level. So maybe they are thinking that as soon as they decide to stop guarding 1100.5 it's going to break hard on a stop cascade. DOH - we're through it :)

Yup I see that 5K block with my own eyes. I know how this game works intraday but I can't remember seeing such an oversized block on the book during the AH session. I like to call the book/DOM the "phony book"

Too funny... I was out for a run and while I was running I was thinking... we were all pretty confident about it continuing to sell off after hours ........SHIT. It's going up! Just checked the charts and saw the spike. LOL

I like 85 too schiz... but be wary of FOMC on Wednesday. Based on the volume on the pop @ close today and the fact that tomorrow is God's work t-day... they might hold off the selling into Wed.

"If market should go up but isn't, it must go down" Another way to say it: "what wasn't that?" Volume is still in the sh!tter... and we've got R below us at 17.5

Yep. Well ...the volume just woke up with price attacking the low of RTH - but we're on track to have another crappy day volume-wise. This is a typical summer pattern ... from memorial day to labor day the volume trends down.
