Recommended live chat/blog for experienced ES traders?

Yeah, found it about an hr ago. Been in ever since. Feel silly for missing that. Some good members active in there that I recognize. Tx

Recommended live chat/blog for experienced ES traders?

Thanks for reply, but just looking for a room to bounce ideas off other traders live and pay a minimal fee for the live chat support protocol. Not interested in having others making live calls and such.

Recommended live chat/blog for experienced ES traders?

Curious, are there any live ES/ER/YM chat rooms or blogs some of you can recommend for experienced index traders? Would be nice to bounce around ideas intra-day with other traders that have a clue. Tx.

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

Stuck to plan, went short at 77.75 after failed retest and just covered at 73.0. +4.75

Looking to place short here @ 78.5-79.5 if it fails the re-test.

Suspect you may have to lower your target. I had mine at 81.5 but now not so confident.

Taking 103K to 1.2million by Year End 2008

Sounds like an exciting goal. Wish you the best of luck. Are you strictly attached to stocks/options? Perhaps I missed it in previous posts, but do you also utilize futures/eminis? If you are a good technical trader and understand S&P 500 action, IMO you give yourself a much better...

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

IMO the safer move is to get short @ 27-28 after twice failing @ 28.5-29 on a 3-5min. I agree it will likely work out but was not a patient move.

Why get short in the middle of a bullish run? Amateur move IMO. Wouldn't waiting for confirmation be a better way to set a short on a day like today? Trending up intra-day since early am with some decent buy blocks propelling. Having already retraced to 1310 and showcasing the hardest bounce of...

any "pattern day trading rules" on future trading

Sorry to hear about the BSC loss if that was in fact the case. However, I'm having a hard time understanding why you had your entire "trading" account in BSC and were holding it overnight???? Very poor decision, especially after it broke down from $65. With all that is going on in the market...

    ES M8 is horrible

I felt both Tues/Thurs early morning sessions were very straight-forward. Took in some significant gains off both those long runs but was too late to the game on the corresponding short cycles. Wed on the ES I wanted to pull my hair out... mostly traded the Q's instead.

Free or inexpensive Time & Sales live stream for ES?

Just installed/setup QT using Raw Data function with IB feed. Feel like a dunce for not thinking of that but it's been ages since putting QT through its paces. Platform sure has come a long ways. Thanks again Medved. Have a good wkd all.

Free or inexpensive Time & Sales live stream for ES?

Just dumped E-signal and using Multicharts and I.B. for now since I'm mostly an investor/short term swing trader. IB is in the process of developing a live Time and Sales streamer but won't be available for a few months. What would you folks recommend for streamer to monitor the ES time...

    The 1 ES Point REALITY

As of last week, have averaged 2.85 pts since the new year with 15-20 contract lots. Volatility and trends are incredibly favorable as of late. The pattern has been 8-10 pt days followed by -3 to -5pt days. Prior to Dec 07 on the ES? Don't ask. :( Thank god for going heavy in dry bulk shipping...

Agreed. Will likely play the ES from 7-9am, followed up by a time-out until consumer sentiment rolls out @ 10.

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

Yep, ~6% ups, ~4% downs. Pretty trend line. Was def a no brainer buying this am in low 30's. Got a laugh when they blew out all those stops set at 30-31.5 at the 10am hr.

Great trade you got there. Kicking myself for getting out early, but you know what they say about 20/20. I re-entered at 38.25, which was my plan after the earlier exit if it broke 37 and MA exp's on decent volume. Still holding. Watching 3min and 60 min. Taking profit at 47 if it wafers.
