catholic church: republican policies are immoral.

In my world there are always what ifs. I'm not willing to discount string theory (m-theory) suggesting that there might be multiple universes, each with different physical laws. I'm not willing to discount Tesla's ideas of being able to use the "ether" to travel through space. The guy...

catholic church: republican policies are immoral.

Or, the laws of physics are universal. God "became" god by attaining a perfect understanding of how to use these laws, and then went about creating. This would support my opinion that the reason God doesn't save people from trials is that it simply isn't his purpose. Like the kid who...

catholic church: republican policies are immoral.

Not necessarily. If "God' exists. It is my opinion that God developed the laws we refer to as science and uses these laws to accomplish his creation. Thus, discovery of science leads to understanding of how God operates. Also, understanding of the true God would facilitate an comprehension...

catholic church: republican policies are immoral.

My sentiments exactly. I believe that some "creator" does exist, and will be in perfect harmony with science. IOW, true religion leads to scientific discovery, and true science leads to discovery of "God". But then the opposite must also be true. False religion contradicts science and...

catholic church: republican policies are immoral.

Ah yes, but this is the part that I never agreed with main stream Christians/Catholics on. We were supposedly created in God's image, and then they went and changed God into something that doesn't resemble us. Which one is it?

Romney’s Lead Economist Urges Policies that will Cause the Next Financial Crisis

Anyone who has studied econ at a major university knows Mankiw. He wrote the most popular textbooks. We all know and understand his ideas. I actually have a different theory. I think the crises are actually cause by the fighting of two opposing ideas. Adam Smith -- mostly correct and...

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

I've heard both fake and real. But that is what the recoil would really be like without the built in shock system. But the one that I posted is very much real and currently holds the world record for most powerful handgun. You should see the fire ball come from the barrel, even in full light.

Not just flinching with a handgun either. These revolvers are double action. It is a long trigger if the hammer isn't cocked first as the trigger must first pull the hammer and then trip it. Causes me to roll my wrist forward. Shots miss low and left. If you're gonna be accurate, then...

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

You want to see non-practical? I had a business meeting with the guys at Triple Action LLC several months ago. http://airbornecombatengineer.typepad.com/airborne_combat_engineer/2005/01/the_thunder_50_.html They hauled that baby out and did a demo. Owner and lead designer is a gun...

Here's a little pop quiz for you guys. Why have revolvers generally been the preferred weapon for criminal activities?

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

It isn't always about the caliber, obviously. As I noted, my 357 is considered more of a hunter style. Long barrel and heavy. That reduces the recoil a ton. My buddies .45 kicks like a freakin mule though. Anyway, this style of revolver is much more accurate from longer range than...

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

They don't really ever decide that you are dinner. Mountain lion are super reclusive and attacks are almost unheard of. More of a just in case for them. They like to sleep under the porch of the cabin in the winter. Never come across a bear yet, but friends have. Now moose are a different...

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

I never trust that I've left the proper chamber open, but I suppose it is just that much safer than carrying fully loaded. I don't have the stainless. I bet that is slick looking. Yep I prefer the 38 special too. But I shoot both. I have a ton of re-loaded 357 casings, so it is cheaper...

Here is the source... http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/03/us-usa-florida-shooting-trayvon-idUSBRE8320UK20120403 I did note that this is the story that was supposedly described to Trayvon's dad by the investigator at the station. As told by Mr. Martin.

    Zimmerman's Bloody Head

I'm the same way. I won't carry my 357 revolver loaded unless I'm in the mountains (moose, mountain lions, and bears). Even then, it is holstered with the safety on and the holster strap snapped around the hammer.
