Short NQ at 1970 when I saw the selling tail... stop right above highs. :edit: covering for a point... not feeling confident enough. I think its possible it makes 1 more retest 1972 and even breaks through by a ~point so I dont wan't my stop there... i'll look to short again around that...

I'm not taking any longs, the trend of the TRIN has been a slow upward one and that tells me we can start to fall easier than we can rally. I'm going to continue to look for short scalps at resistance on the NQ where the market gets ahead of itself and looks overbought and where AAPL direction...

This thread has been eye-opening. I think the bottom line is that all fields of work are highly competitive so you just need to do what you love to do. I'm realizing after a year of doing this that if I put the same effort I put into trading, into my studies or activities that will carry over...

Covered at 1548.25 for +5 points... I think the bounce off mornings lows in the NQ will lift the ES a little, so I'll be looking to reshort after the bounce

Yup, but its not "creeping" up like I had hoped... more of a surge... we may be in for a double top.

A little range trading around this 1550 level and followed by creeping up to 1551.50 then a drop would seal the deal nicely with a head and shoulders. A nice vacuum under this mornings lows too. BTW Apex, your calls amaze me. Have a good time in the Bahamas.:)

:p I'm just curious, because I don't even bother trying to trade these numbers. For one, bots and big money that have better feeds will beat me to buying/selling the news and for two, I would have no idea when the market would want to stop going up... selling into it a green spike wouldn't...

I got long at 1519 and then stopped out at 1517.50. Back in at 1518 though giving it one more shot with stop at 1517.25. It wouldn't be the first time that we'd see a solid support area taken out by a point or so just to have it rally. You can see the volume spike on that downward move... I...
